At some point I couldn't get onto AOL, didn't have version 8 disk so loaded version 9, couldn't connect to aol. AOL tech had me check the Remote Access Connection, AOL 9, installed some windows updates, ran Anti Virus software. I've contacted HP and tried loading two different SPs that would update BIOS.

Persistent pop up in AOL 9
that as of 9/1/96 AOL will be banned from the Internet. Is this true? I have an account there (mostly to use some of the forums, ie Writing Forum, Baby Boomers, etc.) ... but a number of my friends access Internet via AOL. This concerns me.
